This is (apparently) a C3 Corvette with some kind of body kit, spotted near work. The pic isn’t great but maybe someone recognizes the kit. It’s been there for a while, under that tarp. I have driven past it I don’t know how many times without wondering what it was built for, and that is a shame.

Ugh. Dunno why Kinja insists on turning my photo sideways. Who designed this site? Using it on mobile is truly a test of patience.

I bet it was built for local cruise nights and car shows in the late 80's or early 90's. Owner lost interest after a while, complained about too many foreign cars or too many big dollar cars for a while and there it sits.

Not that I might have lived through a similar scenario or anything..

I love early C3s. I don’t much care for the hatch version of them. This one looks interesting enough that I would probably drive it.. haha jk of course I would.

Yeah, it’s kind of an oddball kit but I actually sorta like it.
